Keep all of your pertinent information in one electronic filing cabinet, your Dossier system. Paperless asset management makes it easier to inventory and control all of your assets whether they are mobile or not. Track your equipment from purchase to disposal including costs, specifications, maintenance records, utilization, fuel-energy consumption and all of the typical administrative requirements needed to manage any asset to meet or exceed DOT or OHSA requirements. Dossier is an easy program to configure to meet your specific equipment management needs. While the program comes preloaded with commonly used words and terms that describe typical fleet operations including VMRS codes, many of the words and terms can be easily and quickly change by you so that you can keep the vocabulary in common use within your fleet environment now. This lets you get up and running quickly while keeping the learning curve to a minimum.

There's no need to stop or disturb your daily routine and workflow to add new equipment, parts, personnel, vendors, or even add new words or terms to the program. Dossier’s “add-on-the-fly” system makes it quick and easy to add new information or make changes if and when needed.
Maximum Automation & One-Click Data Entry
One of the mandates for Dossier is that it must be as fully automated as possible to eliminate costly data entry time and personnel. Dossier reduces the data entry associated with recurring repair orders by utilizing One-Click Data Entry templates. Simply enter any repair only once and then save it as a repair order template so that you can use it over and over again to reduce future data entry to a single mouse click and increase accuracy at the same time.
Also available is the ability to eliminate data entry of outside vendor invoices and repair orders altogether by simply importing them into Dossier. This includes repair cost data, history and preventive maintenance data, fuel and meter readings, purchase orders, parts reorders, equipment engine fault codes and so much more all to make Dossier one of the most automated systems in the industry.
Broad Use of Bar Code Labels & RFID Tag Technology
Dossier broadly uses bar codes to further reduce data entry and increase accuracy. Bar codes can be produced for your parts, vehicles, equipment, and even your mechanics to increase the ease of data entry. Dossier’s bar coding software even produces special parts warranty labels to prevent parts from getting misplaced that are needed for warranty claims. When and where practical, the use of RFID tags are used in the same manner as bar code labels.
Over 150 Pre-configured Reports With Unique Data Searching Capabilities
While Dossier's array of over 150 pre-configured reports is impressive, many fleets require the ability to "slice and dice" these reports to meet their specific needs. With Dossier's unique "Search 'n' Select" feature a mechanic or novice computer operator can produce reports with meaningful information and reports containing only the equipment that matches their search criteria. All reports can be viewed on screen, printed, saved to a file type of your choice or e-mailed to others to eliminate double data entry.
