Arsenault Associates Releases Dossier
Version 5.1 BURLINGTON, N.J. – March 30, 2010 -- Arsenault Associates has released Dossier Version 5.1, the latest, feature-rich edition of its industry-leading fleet asset maintenance management software. Dossier Version 5.1 includes new analysis and automation tools to facilitate business decisions, eliminate duplicated efforts, enhance productivity, and lower costs.

“The enhancements in Dossier 5.1 were developed in close collaboration with our user community,” said Bob Hausler, vice-president of marketing & technology at Arsenault. “This feature set delivers benefits that are tangible and can be achieved immediately, such as better warranty cost recovery tools, improved personnel tracking and utilization, and quick identification of assets costing more than planned. Our joint focus with our users is on the bottom line.”

A few of the major new features include:

New warranty configuration options which provide additional and timely reminders to file with OEM and parts suppliers to recover warranty dollars.

Dossier 5.1 can automatically remind users of warrantees as shown here during data entry. Warranty details are just a mouse click away.

New unit exception reports allow users to easily review their fleet and locate units running over service life cycle cost and utilization thresholds, and under fuel performance thresholds. Reports isolate units ripe for replacement and also pinpoint units performing above and below expectations – all valuable information for future buying decisions.

Technicians can “clock-in” and “clock-out” on repair order tasks with a mouse click, more accurately recording actual times spent on individual jobs. Manual entry of start/stop times is still supported.

For fleets with or considering on-site NAPA parts stores, parts usage and cost data can be automatically linked into Dossier. In addition to eliminating the expense of carrying the costs of their own parts inventory, these Dossier 5.1 users also have a fully automated data entry and streamlined parts management process that saves costs and eliminates entry errors.

Hausler added, “In addition to these major features, Dossier 5.1 adds dozens of functional and usability improvements, such as enhanced management of fluids, expanded barcode support, new tire management features, outsourced work management improvements, and many more.”

Like previous versions, Dossier 5.1 can be configured by the individual fleet. In the case of the new features, virtually all can be turned on and off or fine-tuned for specific purposes.

Dossier 5.1, which offers the highest and most rapid ROI in the industry, is available now.
